Default Kill Count Tracker

Just have a /killcount to let you know how many monsters you've ever killed. No title or anything. Just for fun like /deaths. Only you don't get a title for 0

Would also like to see this, or rather I've always wanted a dmg tracker. Even if its only for the zone your currently in, the way they track # of mobs now, I would realy like to see how much dmg im doing total. Mainly just for my ele, but would be enlightening to see what other classes can do as well.

Implementing a kill counter now wouldn't take into account all the kills up till now though, so it would be more bitter than sweet for most players.

It would be fun to know. I love the kill count you get while vanquishing.

/signed but it is prolly not possible to make it retroactive. but this may also bog the servers down because of the tracking but prolly not. a dmg tracker would be nice too. maybe anet could let some third parties make some addons like wow does to get this done. but meh that may have issues too.

/signed for pvp

really no point for pve, might even make pvp more agressive , would it count for your acctual kills or your teams kills btw, your own could be unfair on monks and party is basicly exp bar - quests.

/maybe signed for PvP

I suggested a similar thing a few months ago: a statistics page after a mission showing kills, deaths, ect for every player but ppl talked me out of it and i think that the same arguement can be made here.

I can just imagine people running into missions with all attack skills jut trying to get the most kills and damage on the team.

PvP might be ok though.

/signed for GW2

The fact that this can't work retroactively is a major downfall imo.
But everyone starts fresh in GW2 so it'd be nice to have a counter.

As long it is "party-wide", and not "last hit wins".

I like the concept but it has issues that would need to be worked out first.

How would the counter work? Do you only get counted if you scored the killing blow?
Yes - unfair to your teammates that helped.
Ok, everyone that helped dmg enemy gets points - Unfair to monks and support chars.
Ok, then everyone on the team gets a point just like the Vanquisher counter - Huh?? You mean that leecher back at the spawn point gets points too??!!?? NOOO!!!

You could give it a general area around the foe (such as the agro) so that characters who are within range such as melee and support chars get the kill count but leechers will not.

No title track.

I would like a kill count for my party.

A team could go out and farm (blank) for an hour, then when they enter the next outpost, the counter is reset.

So /halfsigned

If it counts for the entire party, /signed.

If it counts each individual player, /notsigned. I can just see too many smiting monks, 12345678 sins, and power attack warriors that are so juiced up on attacks that they can't defend or heal.

Agreed, although instead of part wide, every ally within an agro.
